Iraq Energy City serves some of the best food in Southern Iraq, with diverse international menus offering Western, Indian, Asian and Iraqi cuisine. Vegetarian and special dietary meals are also available on request, as are packed-lunches for those on the go.
The community’s two dining facilities, one providing restaurant-style service and the other a more casual environment, can cater to more than 1,000 diners for each meal. In addition to these two facilities, residents have access to a gourmet coffee shop located in the recreation centre.
Every food item on the menu must meet the food service provider’s set of internal quality requirements as well as EU and US food handling standards. A Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) programme is also in place and independent third-party inspection companies are employed to verify the safety and quality of the food and water on a regular basis.
Iraq Energy City’s food service provider is available upon request should a firm’s Health, Safety and Environment Director require further information.
